"The Fabric of Our Faith":
The next
public gathering is Sunday, January 22nd
from 2-4pm - a fabric arts workshop, in which we design fabric collages to
represent images from our various faiths, and piece them together into a
banner or quilt. Materials and instruction provided - all are
welcome! See the flier.

The
Treasures of Uptown Interfaith Action Coalition is
a group of clergy and laypeople from the Baha'i, Buddhist, Christian, Jewish, Muslim,
and Unitarian-Universalist traditions who want to help create interfaith
dialog and action to promote harmony and greater knowledge and understanding
among the diverse peoples of Uptown.
We hold
public events, with different religious groups hosting, as we discuss themes
that cut across religious lines and across the human experience. We are
organizing to develop actions to involve people working side by side to make a
difference in our world and our community.
In May, Rev. Jacki Belile, of Living
Well Ministries led a discussion of "Health and
Spirit." We shared from our own faith perspectives -
how do we care for one another? What does "health" mean, in our
tradition? How can we consider the health of a whole community?
