Reading the Bible with the Eyes of the Poor

For the next three Sundays, join Pastor Susan as she leads us in looking at several significant passages from the Bible as a way to see if we can hear the way the peasant followers of Jesus heard these messages:

11:30 a.m. at The Coffee Hour

June 11, 2017–Jeremiah 22:13-17  “To Know God”

June 18, 2017–Luke 1:46-55  “Mary’s Song”

June 25, 2017–Luke 4:16-30  “Good News to the Poor”

Come to the stage area where we will gather in a circle.  All are welcome!!

Pennies from Heaven Fundraising for 2 Li’l Fishes Lunch Program–2

We call this “Pennies from Heaven” because we asked our members and friends to bring in that jar, that bag of pennies and other coins that’s been accumulating on their dresser to help us raise money for our 2 Li’l Fishes lunch program.  Every penny counts!

Summertime?  People don’t tend to think of people going hungry at this time of year.  But even though the weather is beautiful, there are still people who struggle to get enough to eat.

Thanks for your support!
