   Pre-Apprenticeship Training

Building Bridges is a program of the Chicago Interfaith Committee on Worker Issues (CICWI), a non-profit organization whose object is to improve working conditions and pay for low-wage workers in Chicago, by directly empowering them, and enlisting the support of Chicago area people of faith.

Building Bridges organizes and teaches pre-apprenticeship classes for women and minorities in area churches, assisting them to get into the union building trades.
