~ Labor Day ~

We had a great Labor Day!

Thanks to everyone who helped us do a bangup celebration this year.  People gave money, other people worked, and we all had a great time.  Pix will be posted soon... 

 

Festive Labor Day picnic in Margate Park

Every year on Labor Day, Peoples Church cooks barbeque and serves hundreds of hungry people in Margate Park.  It's a lot of work, but it's fun and satisfying, too - we play softball before lunch, and this year we have a special musical guest, who will regale the guests in line with his playing and singing from 11:30 to 1:30 while we serve the meal.  (see 2009 picnic pix)
